Neil Verdeja is a seasoned insurance industry professional with over two decades of experience in delivering exceptional results and driving client success. As a Managing Partner at Hotaling Insurance Services, Neil leads the daily operations and oversees relationship management for a diverse portfolio of clients, including industries such as construction, aviation, and medical specialties. Previously, Neil held the position of Senior Vice President for Brown & Brown’s Miami Division, following the acquisition of BenTrust Insurance Group, where he excelled as the COO. During his tenure, Neil spearheaded the development and implementation of innovative business development and marketing strategies, facilitated licensing and appointments, and managed public relations efforts.
Prior to joining BenTrust, Neil served as the Chief Executive Officer of British Atlantic Insurance Company Ltd., where he successfully established and implemented groundbreaking Term Life and Credit Life products, along with Total & Permanent Disability products sold as group benefits for foreign corporations, particularly in Central and South America.
Before venturing into the insurance industry, Neil launched and managed Verdeja Marketing Group Inc., where he crafted strategic marketing and advertising campaigns for esteemed clients, including Festina Watch Company and Turismo España. His expertise spanned diverse markets, including the US Hispanic, LatAm, and Spain. Notably, Neil also gained valuable experience working at Citibank and Zubi Advertising before establishing his own company.
Neil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. His commitment to professional growth extends beyond his work, as he actively engages with industry and civic organizations such as the Greater Miami Aviation Association (GMAA) and Facts About Cuban Exiles (FACE). Furthermore, Neil is a passionate advocate for the Spear Sarcoma Manny Alvarez Foundation, supporting their mission to combat sarcoma.
