Ryan’s journey into the insurance industry began during his time in banking. While working as an Assistant Branch Manager, one of his favorite clients, an insurance firm owner, recognized Ryan’s talent for understanding financial risk and encouraged him to make the transition into insurance. This pivotal moment launched Ryan into a successful career where he has since held a variety of key roles, including Commercial Insurance Accounts Manager, Executive Producer, and Sr. Account Executive, for various independent firms in Houston. He joined HIS in March 2023, where his leadership and strategic insight continue to drive the Commercial Lines division forward.
Ryan’s academic foundation in insurance is built on a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a major in Insurance Risk Management from the University of Houston. His educational background, combined with his extensive industry experience, has equipped him with a deep understanding of risk assessment and the technical nuances of commercial insurance.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Ryan is an active member of his community. He participates in several local chambers, including The Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce, The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and The Museum District Business Alliance. These engagements allow him to stay connected with local business leaders and contribute to the economic growth of his community.
A devoted father of two, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano, honing his chess skills, and working out. He believes personal growth and professional development go hand in hand and strives to continuously improve in all aspects of his life.
