Dan DiLella is Managing Partner and Chief Growth Officer of Hotaling Insurance Services, where he advises family offices, ultra-high-net-worth families, and entrepreneurs on complex insurance and risk management strategies.
Hotaling Insurance Services operates through a multi-family-office risk management model, helping families coordinate both personal and commercial risks under one platform. The firm primarily serves families with net worths of $25 million+ and businesses ranging from approximately $25 million to $5 billion in revenue nationwide. Its four core disciplines include Advanced Life Insurance Planning, Employee Benefits, Commercial Property & Casualty, and Private Client Insurance.
Dan’s practice focuses on helping families simplify and consolidate what are often fragmented insurance relationships, working alongside their attorneys, accountants, wealth advisors, and other professionals to create a more coordinated approach to risk management and estate planning.
Dan joined Hotaling in 2014 in NYC and was later tasked with expanding the firm’s presence in Texas, ultimately opening the Houston office where he now lives and becoming Managing Partner in 2017.
Dan graduated from the University at Albany with degrees in Business Administration and Finance. As the starting quarterback, he helped lead the Great Danes to their first FCS Playoff appearance and earned First-Team All-Northeast Conference and FCS Academic All-Star honors and later had a proverbial cup of coffee with the New York Jets.
Outside of work, Dan is married to his college sweet heart Gina, whom he is underqualified for, with two young boys and two dogs. He is an avid reader and enjoys hiking, running, boxing, and Muay Thai.
